Welcome to World War 2 Radio, broadcasting live 24/7. Music from the 30's and 40's for all our visitors to the sites of the World War 2 network.

There are a couple of ways to listen to the station, please see the details below.

Listening on this site.

To listen to the station on this site you can use the media player to the left, some will get a warning about installing active x controls, this is perfectly safe on this site, the active x control simply allows the media palyer to open and stream the music to this page. Please do not assume that all requests on sites you go to are safe. As a part of the ww2network we put security of our members and visitors first.

If your not sure about downloading the active x control to listen on the site then please use one of the options below, you can always come back and install the active x control at a later date.

Using Windows Media Player

To listen to the station using the windows media player in Windows is very simple, open media player and click on the "file menu" then select "open URL". In the box that comes up type in http://78.129.180.27:8688/ and click ok, this will then start the station. You can save this so you can access it easily in the future.

The station statistics on the left are refreshed every 3 minutes, when that happen this page reloads and will cause a short pause in the music, to avoid this save the station in your favourite media player.

Using Winamp

Winamp is a much better solution to Windows Media Player in my opinion, it offers access to a wide range of stations in every style. You can download it here

Once you install and open winamp, simply select "winamp Radio" from the options in the list (its nearer the bottom than top). Once the radio station page opens either search for "WW2" or "WW2 Radio". You can also just press the "W" in the alphabetical list. Look for the station called "" Radio and click on "tune in".

Thats all there is to it :)

Please note if your listening to the station using the media player on the left of this page that there is a 3 minute refresh to update the statistics, so simply put you will get a very small 1 second gap in the music every 3 minutes. This will not happen using Windows Media Player or Winamp.

I hope you enjoy the station and dont forget to visit our other World War 2 Sites.
